National Equity Atlas
Robust data and research are essential to developing strategies to build an equitable economy. Through our National Equity Atlas partnership with the Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (PERE) at the University of Southern California, we work to equip community leaders and policymakers with actionable data and research they can use to advance equitable growth.
Our work includes:
- Democratizing equity data. The National Equity Atlas is a first-of-its-kind web resource for data to track, measure, and make the case for inclusive growth. The Atlas provides deeply disaggregated, longitudinal data on demographic change, racial and economic inclusion, and the economic benefits of equity for the largest 100 cities, largest 150 regions, all 50 states, and the United States. Find data for your community at www.nationalequityatlas.org.
- Advancing the conversation on equitable growth. We produce high-impact research on the drivers of inclusive prosperity, the potential economic benefits of equity, and the policy solutions to foster equitable growth. See our research.
- Informing community action. We partner with local community coalitions and national advocacy networks to develop relevant analyses and data tools to inform policy campaigns, organizing, and decision-making. Find our local reports.
