National Equity Atlas

Robust data and research are essential to developing strategies to build an equitable economy. The Atlas provides deeply disaggregated, longitudinal data on demographic change, racial and economic inclusion, and the economic benefits of equity for the largest 100 cities, largest 150 regions, all 50 states, and the United States.

All-In Cities

The All-In Cities Policy Toolkit provides a suite a strategies and tools, for 6 policy areas, to advance racial inclusion and equitable growth: Good jobs, Economic security, Homegrown talent, Healthy neighborhoods, Housing / anti-displacement, Democracy and justice. Each tool contains information on what the policy is, key considerations, who can implement it, and examples of where it is working.

Getting to Equity Advocacy Results (GEAR)

GEAR provides useful benchmarks, frameworks, and tools for measuring progress in equity efforts for policy change.  The GEAR framework provides advocates with tools to strengthen the effectiveness of their advocacy, identify opportunities to drive change, and demonstrate results -- across a range of issues. 

Equitable Development Toolkit

Equitable development is an approach to creating healthy, vibrant, communities of opportunity.  This online toolkit -- referred to as EDTK -- includes 27 tools to reverse patterns of segregation and disinvestment, prevent displacement, and promote equitable revitalization. Produced between 2001-2015, these tools set the foundation for our All-In Cities toolkit.

Policing Toolkit

Building Momentum from the Ground Up: A Toolkit for Promoting Justice in Policing offers 15 policy recommendations, under 5 results: Ending Mass Criminalization, Safe and Just Police Interactions, Community Control, Independent Oversight, and Improving Police Department Practices. 

Accompanying the toolkit is a series of issue briefs, Beyond Confrontation: Community-Centered Policing Tools.  Each brief addresses one of the following: Limiting Police Use of Force, Engaging Communities as Partners, Demilitarizing Local Police Departments, and Sustaining and Institutionalizing Best Practices and Strategies.
